ClinicalEthicsPrep runs entirely in your web browser — there is nothing to download or install. If your device can browse the modern web, it can run our question banks.
Supported browsers
- Google Chrome (current and previous version)
- Microsoft Edge (current and previous version)
- Mozilla Firefox (current and previous version)
- Apple Safari (current and previous version)
Other modern browsers generally work, but the four above are what we test against. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Devices and operating systems
- Windows 10 or newer
- macOS 12 (Monterey) or newer
- ChromeOS (current)
- iPhone / iPad: iOS or iPadOS 15 or newer
- Android 10 or newer
The exam-style interface adapts to any screen size. For the most realistic testing experience — matching the computer-based testing environment — we recommend a laptop or desktop display at least 1024 pixels wide, or a tablet in landscape orientation. Phones work well for on-the-go review of missed and flagged questions.
Internet connection
- An internet connection is required while studying — your answers, flags, and progress sync to your account in real time so you can switch devices without losing anything.
- Any broadband, campus, hospital, or cellular (4G/5G) connection is sufficient; the question interface is lightweight.
- High-yield PDFs can be downloaded and reviewed offline.
Required browser settings
- JavaScript enabled — required for the question interface.
- Cookies enabled — required to keep you logged in. If you use strict tracking protection or private browsing, allow cookies for access.clinicalethicsprep.com.
- PDF viewing — all supported browsers open PDFs natively; no separate reader is required.
Email deliverability
Account emails (password setup and reset) come from clinicalethicsprep.com addresses. Hospital and university spam filters can be aggressive — if an expected email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or quarantine folder and mark the message as safe.
Having trouble?
- Refresh the page, or hard-refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).
- Try a different supported browser or a private/incognito window.
- Confirm you are connected to the internet and that your access period is active.
- Still stuck? Email support@clinicalethicsprep.com with your browser, device, and a description of the problem.
